A bingo puzzle, new every day

Daily Bingo turns bingo into a puzzle. The card has a free middle and 24 squares that each hold a rule: Even, Prime, Multiple of 7, Has a 5, B ball. Twenty numbers are called, and each one goes on an empty square it fits. Most numbers fit more than one square, so every call is a choice.

Save the squares few numbers can fill, finish the lines you have started, and see how many rows, columns and diagonals you can complete. Everyone plays the same card and the same calls, so share your card and compare.

Questions

How does Daily Bingo work?

You get one bingo card with a free middle square. Instead of numbers, its squares hold rules like Prime, Multiple of 7 or Has a 5. Twenty numbers from 1 to 75 are called, one at a time. Each number goes on an empty square whose rule it fits, and you choose which. A number that fits no empty square is lost. When the calls are done, you score one point for every complete row, column and diagonal.

Is it the same card for everyone?

Yes. Everyone gets the same card and the same twenty calls on the same day, so you can compare cards with friends. A new card arrives every day at midnight UTC.

What is the best possible score?

Twenty calls can never fill all 24 squares, so a full card is not possible. After the last call you see the most lines anyone could have made that day if they had known every call in advance, usually 7 or 8, and one card that gets there.

Is there any luck in it?

The calls are the luck, and they are the same for everyone. The skill is where you put each number: a number that fits three squares should usually go on the one the fewest numbers can fill, and on the line you are closest to finishing.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free, with no signup and no download. Your streak and today’s card are saved on your device, so you can leave halfway and pick up where you stopped.
