Group games
Games a whole crowd plays at once, each person on their own phone. From 20 people to 250, at work, at a party or on a call.
Free up to 20 players · rooms for up to 250 · no app

Most party games stop working past about fifteen people. Taking turns means most of the room waits, one screen only reaches the front rows, and the loudest few end up doing all the playing.
The games here get around that. Everyone answers at the same moment on their own phone, the results come up together, and the whole room reacts at once. A group of 40 plays as fast as a group of 4, and the quiet people play as much as the loud ones. Groups finish more than 4,500 games a month on Herd Games.
One person starts a room
Pick a game and press Create. You get a room code and a link to share.
Everyone joins on their phone
Each guest opens the link or types the code. No app, no download and no account.
Put it on the TV if you like
Most games can go on a TV. In the lobby, press "Put it on the big screen" on your phone, then open herdgamesonline.com/tv on the TV and type the code your phone shows.
A live quiz with a leaderboard. The host runs it, everyone answers each question on their own phone, and the scores update after every round. Put it on the TV and it feels like a proper quiz night. Write your own questions about the group on the custom questions page for an even better game.
Everyone answers the same question, like "Name a pizza topping", and you score by giving the same answer as most of the room. The bigger the group, the bigger the reaction when the answers come up.
Everyone votes on a choice and the split comes up for the whole room to see. It takes ten seconds to learn, so it works while people are still arriving, and latecomers can join when you press Play again.
Everyone guesses a number, like how many bones are in the human body, and bets on the guesses they trust. You do not need to know anything to win, so it suits a mixed crowd.
Split the room down the middle. One person describes the word without the five banned words while their team guesses and the other side watches for slips. Loud, fast and easy to referee.
A random letter and a list of categories. You only score for answers nobody else wrote, and in a big group that gets hard, which is the fun of it.
Paid rooms show no ads to anyone in them. See pricing, or the company plan for a whole workplace.
Short games that work in a meeting room and on a call at the same time. See office games and, for December, office Christmas party games.
Games with shower questions already loaded: bridal shower games and baby shower games. For a wedding reception, a quiz about the couple on the TV is a hit.
Team Trivia with your own questions turns a lesson or a meeting into a game. Students and members join with a code and a nickname, with no accounts.
See Christmas party games and Christmas games for the family, each with holiday questions ready to play.
Games where everyone answers at the same time, so nobody waits for a turn: group trivia, Herd Mentality, Would You Rather and Guesstimate. For team games, Taboo splits the room into two sides. Here every player uses their own phone, so a bigger group just means a longer leaderboard.
A free room holds up to 20 players. The Host plan holds 50 for $4.99 a month, and the Event plan holds 250, from $19 for a single month with nothing to cancel.
No. Everything runs in the phone’s web browser. Players open the link or type a short room code. Nobody needs an account except the host of a paid room.
Yes. Everyone joins the room from their own phone or laptop while you stay on the call. It works the same whether the group is in one room, spread out, or both.
Put the game on a TV or projector, pick a game where everyone answers at once, and keep each round short. Team Trivia with your own questions about the group is the easiest way to keep a big room hooked.
Every game is free for rooms of up to 20 players. Bigger rooms need the Host or Event plan.
