A survey game with real answers

Every board is a question hundreds or thousands of real people answered in Daily Herd, with their most popular answers hidden. Name a popular Halloween costume. What’s the first thing people notice about someone? Your room has a minute to find them, and every answer you find scores the share of people who said it.

Everyone guesses at the same time on their own phone, so nobody waits for a turn and the room can be two friends or a whole office. Three wrong guesses and you’re out of that board; when the minute is up, the reveal shows every answer and who found it.

How to play

  1. Create a room and share the 4-letter code.
  2. Read the question. The top answers are hidden, most popular first.
  3. Type your guesses. A find flips that answer for you; a miss is one of your three wrong guesses.
  4. The reveal shows every answer, its share, and who found it.
  5. Five boards, and the most points wins.

Great for big groups

Office parties, family gatherings and game nights: put the board on the TV and watch it fill up as people find answers. Want one to play on your own? Try today’s Top Answers Daily, or more party games like Team Trivia, Would You Rather and Guesstimate.

Frequently asked questions

What is Top Answers?

A free survey party game. Each board is a question real people answered in our Daily Herd game, with their most popular answers hidden. Everyone in the room guesses at the same time, and every answer you find scores the share of people who gave it.

How many people can play?

Two or more. Free rooms hold up to 20 players, and because everyone guesses at once there is no waiting for turns, so it works just as well for a big office party on a Host or Event plan.

Is it like Family Feud?

It is our own survey game in the same spirit: guess what most people said. The difference is that the answers come from thousands of real players, and everyone plays at once on their own phone rather than two families taking turns.

Do typos count?

Yes. Small spelling slips, plurals and capitals all count as the same answer, so "vampyre" finds "vampire".

Can we play on Zoom or Teams?

Yes. Everyone joins with the room code on their own device while you stay on the call. Put the board on a big screen for the room to watch it fill up.

Is there a daily version?

Yes: Top Answers Daily has one board a day for playing on your own, made from the previous day’s answers.
