The closest-without-going-over rule

- Find the highest guess on the board that is still ≤ actual answer
- That guess wins
- If every guess is higher than the actual answer, the lowest guess wins by default

When writing your guess
- Bias low. Overshooting is fatal. Better to be slightly low than slightly high.
